2nd December 1975 the battalion began a 4 month tour of Belfast (Falls/Divis/Sandy Row) took over from 2 Royal Anglian, battalion HQ was in Hastings Street, A Coy at Brown Square, B Coy in North Howard Street, SP Coy in Albert Square and D Coy at Mulhouse. 4th April 1976 handed over to 1 Staffords also from Osnabruck and returned to Mercer Barracks, Osnabruck.
